This can also be a breakfast or lunch date, depending on your preference. Take your daughter out for her favorite meal, just the two of you. Part of the fun for her is having the ability to pick out the restaurant she wants to go to and what she wants to eat. It will make her feel special and allow her to know that her opinion is valued. It makes for a great place to talk about the things going on her life as well.
Girls Night In
If you are looking to spend some quality time with your daughter without spending a lot of money, stay in for the night and do things she enjoys. This is a great way for you to do some things that she would normally be interested in doing with friends, like doing nails and hair. If your daughter is particular about how her hair looks in the morning, try researching some hairstyles for long hair, short hair, or just fun and different updos that you can experiment with together.

Take your daughter to your favorite salon and enjoy some pampering with her. She can have her nails painted professionally or even just have her hair styled professionally. Girls love these things because they feel like they can be queen for a day. Also consider getting a massage. These are things that any girl would be interested in doing with you, no matter what her age.
Bike Ride or Hike
Getting outdoors with your daughters is a great way to bond with her. Consider going on a bike ride or talking a hike together. Doing this in a new place will allow you two to bond more from the experience that no one else in the family has been before. You could also bring a lunch and have a picnic to give you the chance to talk with her more.
Shopping Spree
Most girls really enjoy shopping, so take your daughter shopping for a day or an afternoon. Peruse her favorite stores, try on clothes and lavish her with the attention she desires. Even if you are on a budget and do not have a lot of extra money to spend, the excitement of looking at new things and possibly picking up a few items is good enough. It makes for a fun way to learn what your daughter is interested in, and get her talking about her favorite things.
Your daughter is one of the most special people in your life and every once in a while, it is important that you show her in a different way.
