It wasn't just jewelry I made for Xmas. I also tried my hand at a few other Christmassy crafts to celebrate handmade this festive season. After putting the tree up it seemed like only that part of the room had the Christmas spirit. To help spread it around the flat I made this felt banner:
I also made these silly temporary tattoo stocking fillers for my friend Kimberley. Handmade and custom packaging make them extra special. They might not be very festive but she seemed pretty pleased with them.
And I knocked together these dino jewelry racks for my Dinosaur mad sister. Made with adult supervision of course. These were inspired by a DIY is saw on Pinterest. I already have many more makes pinned to try out in 2013.
Making stuff can be great fun but also slightly stressful. As you can tell from the above picture the jewelry rack wasn't quite dry in time for Christmas. Next year I'm definitely going to start making things earlier (I so won't).
