Monica Lee: Impressive Photorealistic Portraits Made with Pencil

By Vecie78 @NeverSayCool

Watching these images, some of you may think that Monica Lee is a photographer with a style of her own, made of peculiar lights and an extraordinary sense of detail. Well, you are wrong!!! Not surely in defining her art, but in where it comes from. Monica isn’t in fact a photographer, but a fine painter, and her portraits are done with a simple pencil, modulating different details through pressure, color and stroke. The most amazing thing about Lee’s art, is that sense of reality and it’s rendering of real life light, which is able to bring alive anything, from people to animals and objects.
