Money is the theme this week and many people have a lot to say about it.
How do I feel about money?
Another man that is quoted the most, and even more than Henry Ford in the category of money, is Benjamin Franklin who provided 8 different quotes for The Forbes business quote book.
I’m going to share two short ones –
The first is great advice from Benjamin Franklin,
“Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship.”
Think about that – spending just a dollar a day on a beverage (if you can find something you like for only a dollar!) means that you drank away $365 dollars in a year.
And the second quote from Benjamin Franklin is,
“Money never made a man happy yet, nor will it. There is nothing in its nature to produce happiness.”
I remember once reading something about this same idea, that money itself, in any form: paper, coin, gold bar, was only a thing, it was neutral.
Money has no power, it is inanimate, it has no feelings, and it is mute.
It is only the value we place upon it that gives it any power. What power are you giving this inanimate thing?

Go make it a Magnificent Day!
