Winter has stayed on long and needs to go now. I am done bundling up in thick jackets and overcoats. It was time I shed some of the layers and hence this outfit. Letting you in on a little secret: there is just one t-shirt underneath that coat dress and thats it. I abandoned way too many pieces including the sweater and thermals and yep, that made me happy.....
This coat dress has been in my closet for almost five years now and I don't think it is retiring any time soon. It is by-far the most versatile outer, giving me dual options of wearing it both as a dress and as an overcoat. Today I traversed the dress route and added the fur stole as the warm layering piece.
That just gave me an idea: "the next time I wear this coat as a dress, I should add a belt for that oomph...what say ?? " Also my apologies for the unruly hair, agreeably it is not a good idea to click pictures post-work - whomp whomp !
