Last night, Mom at Last attended the showing of an amazing Adoption Documentary Film titled STUCK in Wilmington, Delaware. From the opening credits to the closing scene, STUCK is an honest, yet moving, film that explores the challenges faced by Birth Parents, Prospective Adoptive Parents – and of course, the countless children that are literally STUCK in orphanages, waiting for their day of happiness when they finally have their forever family.
STUCK will have you captivated from beginning to end with the beautiful cinematography, the compelling stories, and the honesty it brings to the topic of International Adoption & The Hague Convention. In addition, STUCK shines a bright light on the detrimental effects orphanages have on young children due to the lack of affection and care that they should receive in their developmental stages in early childhood.
