Models Own x Hed Kandi - Beach Party

models own x hed kandi in beach party Following on from my love affair with ibiza mix (review here) I decided I needed to invest in some more from the hed kandi range and manage to come up trumps when Boots had two for £8 on models own polishes so I got beach party and hedonist. Beach party is like no other polish I own, not just in color shade but the fact its so neon! The pictures really didn't capture the brightness and it doesn't help that photobucket keeps turning all my pictures really cool! The only way I can describe this color is neon. It is the exact same shade as the orange highlighters you use to have at school to highlight words when making notes!  The consistency isn't the greatest I've come across in nail varnishes, but its not bad, it can just be a little streaky if applied to thickly or if you haven't allowed to top coat to fully dry. I used two coats of beach party and as always top it off with a generous coat of seche vite! I think this polish would be great for anyone that really loves the look of the current neon trend but isn't quiet brave enough to wear a neon jumper or dress, but still wants to dip their toe in the trend, and for that, and the fact I love it so much and it also reminds me of my geeky days studying at school I would highly recommend you go out and buy this instantly! I think I need to buy balearic cool next, I'm not too bothered about disco heaven but will probably end up buying that as well!
