My afterschool play dough class made some delicate flowers today, ones that stood in their own little plastic cups. All the supplies came from a food supply store and Michaels.
1. The small plastic cups were filled with brown play dough, and then up to the top with green. A little green wooden stick, which was found in the floral dept. at Michaels, was stuck in the middle.
2. Students rolled a ball for the flower center, and stuck it on top.
3. Small little tubes were rolled and attached to the center ball. Tiny little balls added some texture to the flower.
4. Larger tubes of green play dough were rolled and placed alongside the stem for the leaves.
