It’s a week into March and I realize I haven’t done a Mod of the Month for February. Silly me. Always so forgetful and late. Anyway, here are some celeb styles that caught my eye this month. These ladies are styled in some key pieces for this spring.
Midi dresses are definitely big this spring. These ladies wear it well. Rose Byrne’s look is more classic and feminine…but I am nervous about trying on something of this length because I’m so short. Maybe a pencil midi dress would work (the slimming effect could balance out the height issue) – with edgy boots to boost. How does Victoria Beckham always look so good?
Maxi dresses aren’t going anywhere just yet. And I have a good one to copy Olivia Wilde’s outfit. Tiffany Thiessen looks great in her waxed jeans (I want a pair) and blazer combo. I was totally at that event by the way! I caught a glimpse of Tiffany and was so glad I found a picture of her from that night. She’s super cute.
Of course, the one who blew the world away this month has to be Adele. Her dress and performance at the Grammy’s was amazing.
You know what else was cool? Her nod to Christian Louboutin in her manicures that night. It looks like she has a layer of red polish hidden underneath her silver manicure – something that could be missed if you don’t pay attention. I didn’t see until someone pointed it out to me, and now I can’t help but notice. It’s understated and funky at the same time. I like it.
