Mobile Phone service will remain shut in Karachi city for three hours on Friday due to security threats. Interior minister Rehman Malik announced that there are reliable intelligence about terrorist attacks in the city during Friday prayers. To avert this, cellular services will remain suspended from 12PM till 3PM. Interior Minister said that all possible steps are being taken to safeguard the city. Rehman Malik earlier warned that wave of terrorism could hit Karachi in first week of February 2012.
