I appreciate the opportunity to review the following product courtesy of Mighty Handle. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Going to the grocery store. As a parent, you want to kick your former childless self for not realizing what a blessing it was to be able to shop in peace, think about what you are buying & leave with exactly what you came for. Your childless self would laugh in your face for thinking a trip to the grocery store was a mini vacation & even therapeutic.
Regardless, grocery shopping can be a complicated situation when children are involved.
So you make it home from said grocery store/shopping trip where your child was:
A: Well behaved.
B. Ok, but with a few threats of a melt-down until you bribed them with a cookie/icee/whatever treat you use in your arsenal.
C. A holy terror that Satan is beaming about as you leave the store with a red face, crying/misbehaving child &/or tears on your cheeks.
& then you have to drag ALL of those bags into the house & put the contents away.
I don’t know about you, but when my daughter is acting in the option C category, that is usually when the bag with the breakables decides to rip wide open & bust on the ground.
Whoever said “No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk” clearly has never had children.
This my friends is where the Mighty Handle will save your groceries & sanity.
Pros
- Lightweight.
- Comfortable.
- No-slip handle.
- Prevents spills.
- Easy to store.
- Dishwasher safe.
- 100% recyclable.
- Made in the USA.
- Affordable at $9.99 for a set of two.
- Can be used to carry dry cleaning, housewares & even paint cans.
- Most importantly, lives up to their claim of “More Bags. One Trip. No Spills.” I was able to carry in these bags FULL of heavy products like milk, juice & yogurt without a single tear in the bag.
It would have held more bags but I am a weakling.
Cons
- Not readily available in stores yet to test out in person.
Verdict
I LOVE the Mighty Handle! I keep it in the trunk space of my SUV so I always have it. It cuts down on my trips with the grocery bags & I have something to hold all of my shopping bags if I am participating in any MAJOR retail therapy.
