Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.

Heat, rain, and general busy-ness have conspired to reduce my exercise minutes in recent days. I’ll have to average 50 minutes a day for the rest of the month to catch up. That’s a challenge, but I can meet it! Fortunately, I’m right on track for 8 strength-training sessions and 21 days with 8000 steps or more in June.
