Before heading off to Paris for the last of the Spring/Summer 2013 collections, it would be a crime to not to cover the newest collection by the supremely talented, Giorgio Armani.
After designing for so many years, Mr. Armani knows his aesthetic and his customer perfectly.  And this time around was no different with his 60+ look spring line.  The collection, shown a few days ago at Milan Fashion Week, was filled with his signature easy elegance and genius craftsmanship.
Above and beyond doing what he does so well, it seemed to me that Mr. Armani was also having a bit of fun designing this collection, indulging his eccentric side with the celestial theme that tied the show together.  Now let me tell you, I am a girl who loves a good theme, so I'm fairly biased on the subject.  But I think Mr. Armani showed just how much of a genius he is by showcasing his theme in several different ways throughout the show, from the obvious to the abstract.  My favorite being the digital stripe print that actually looked a bit like waves from far away.  They were on theme, but in a not so obvious way.

Brava, Signore Armani!
