Deliciously cinnamon ice cream cake with orange meringue is awaking all my senses. Especially refreshing, ice cream is all I need in summer, but in winter when I sit next to the fire place…I can eat a lot of ice things enjoyably.
- 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate (do not exceed 61% cacao), chopped
- 2 3/4 cups half and half, divided
- 6 large egg yolks
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
