I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know what’s going to be happening between the 3rd and 6th of April at the Metro Centre in Gateshead. The Metro Centre has teamed up with the homeless charity CentrePoint to open up their very own shop for 3 days… but the shop has a bit of a twist. Instead of you going in to buy clothes, you go along with any unwanted clothes to donate, and at the end of the day the shop will be emptied and the clothes given out to homeless people! I think this is such an amazing idea and I’ll definitely be going along if I can, or giving some unloved clothes to someone who will be going. Homeless young people who are the people being helped by CentrePoint will be staffing the shop, so get yourself along and take your unloved clothes with you and do something rewarding! :)
