Look of the Day – Not going for gold today but I’m still into the Heavy Metal trend. I bet metallic pieces are still in this Spring 2013 as seen on fashion weeks. You can always try gold, silver, bronze, even pewter. It’s interesting how it adds a hint of sparkle in your outfit. It’s as if you’ve put an effort to dress up. Heee!

They’re bold and they’re bright.

How do you style metallic pieces without looking over the top? Go for a subtle approach by wearing one piece at a time. Try wearing eyecatching sequins or chainlinks or statement bags/accessories/heels. Holo is cute too!

It’s always great to stock up sequined articles of clothing or just plain metallic because it looks like they’re here to stay. It is probably one of my favorite trends. You never know when is the old becoming new again when it comes to fashion.

I took a risk of pairing my buttondown with this pewter pair despite the golden buttons on my top. I’m quite particular to deets like that as I am not a fan of mixing metals. Nonetheless, I still went for it. There’s no harm in trying, right?

I think I’ve worn this outfit on one of our Friday nights out. This is from an old set, I still haven’t chopped my mane here; the red haircolor is fading out.

The leggings became my instant fave, they’re finally out after staying in my closet for a long time. I’ve had this since last year (I think). Aaaaaand, I feel so malleable (in this outfit) and Chemistry is my fave subject. Farfetched segue but you get me. Lol!

Feisty and spiky heels.

Hope you like today’s look!

Stay wicked!
