With holiday season in full swing, it is so hard not to wear all things festively. It is the time of the year when you get pangs of wearing everything sparkly and wearing the same is the only way to ward off such sartorial pangs. Since, this year I had decided not to buy anything new for the couple holiday parties, we ritualistically go to every year, I scoured through my own closet to find pieces that screamed party-perfect.
To my luck, I found this metallic top, that showed up on the blog almost a year ago. The minute I spotted it, I knew I was wearing this to my husband's ex-colleague's holiday party, past weekend. To add a bit drama to my outfit, I layered this metallic top over a white sleeveless silk shirt, that was a recent find from J Crew. With zero intentions of braving the cold, I adhered to wearing some cord skinnies and my fur jacket, for that extra layer of warmth. A subtle make up and a lady-like necklace, followed for finishing the look. Overall a comfortable yet chic #holidayoutfit !
