MelodySusie Violetilly 48W LED Nail Lamp Review

By Nitrotech

Gel nail lamps come in many varieties, but the best ones use LED light. LED light is whiter and brighter than its alternative, UV light. For this reason, your nail polish remains vibrant and bold after the LED curing process.

LED light is also thought to be less harmful to your health than UV light (though using a UV lamp for your manicure is unlikely to harm you).

So, if you're looking for the perfect LED lamp, you should check out one of our favorites in this MelodySusie LED lamp review!

The Benefits:

The Melody Susie LED lamp is one of the top on our list. This lamp uses sensors to automatically turn the LED light on when you place your fingers inside. Aside from that, you can fit an entire hand-or even a foot!-inside the lamp. In fact, the bottom is removable especially for drying pedicured feet. It is always nice to have the option for doing a gel pedicure! Having all this space is great for comfort but cam also help with efficiency if you are in a rush.

You definitely won't burn your fingers or toes with this lamp. The Melody Susie design includes plenty of ventilation to decrease heat. But your fingers don't need to be under the light all that long any way; It only takes seconds for gel polishes to harden under the Melody Susie lamp. That's because there are 18 high-powered LED lights inside. Use the light for 5, 10, or 20 seconds-that's all you need!

The sleek design of this gel nail lamp is another asset. There are only three buttons to worry about while you're doing your manicure. The Melody Susie lamp looks professional enough to be used in a salon, but don't let that stop you from adding it to your do-it-yourself manicure supplies!

The Drawbacks:

This lamp has only LED light capabilities, meaning it is only compatible with LED-cured gel nail polish. This, of course, means that with the Melody Susie light you have fewer options of nail polishes to choose from. But don't worry, new colors are being made all the time and there are plenty of options for LED-cured polishes.

Another drawback to the Melody Susie lamp is that there is no setting longer than 20 seconds. This may be an issue if your gel polish specifies that it needs to be cured for longer. Many LED-cured gel nail polishes must be cured for around 30 seconds. Of course, you can always just push the on button again once the light has stopped and your nails should cure without issue.
