Megan Fox and actor husband Brian Austin Green welcomed their little bundle of joy on September 27. The ‘Transformer’ actress gave birth to her first child, a son named Noah Shannon Green.
“We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do,” the actress said Wednesday in an better-later-than-never announcement on her Facebook page.
“I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on Sept. 27. He is healthy, happy and perfect.”
“We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love,” Fox continued on her Facebook update.
“Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly.”
The couple had remained mum about Fox’s pregnancy throughout the term, even with a very evident baby belly. The delayed birth announcement is no surprise with regards to this very secretive couple.
In April, she told in an interview with Cosmopolitan, that she’s “always been maternal” and she hopes for “at least two, probably three kids.”
Noah is their first baby together, though they exchanged wedding bands in June 2010 after several years of dating. They began dating in 2004 when Green appeared on the TV show ‘Hope & Faith’, on which Megan was a supporting cast.
Noah will be brother to Kassius and Megan had previously said that she is extremely happy in being a stepmother to the 10-year-old.
She said: “A lot of things make me happy. But I feel unbelievably happy when my stepson tells me I’m beautiful. When I started living with Brian, his son was only two and I was 18. I’ve been looking after Kassius since he was three – its part of my world that very few people really ever understood about me.”
“I love being a stepmom and the experience grounds me when nothing makes sense in my life.”
It is the first child for Fox, 26, and second for Green, 39, who is already dad to 10-year old son, Kassius from his previous relationship with ex-wife Vanessa Marcil.
