Henry is one of the biggest loves in my life. I got him in the summer of 2009 of nine after one of the village cats was impregnated by a feral cat. He was this tiny bundle of craziness, dashing round the house, hiding behind things and jumping on you as you walked past. Not long after getting him I went off traveling to Australia and a small stint in New Zealand and when I came back he was no longer this cute kitten he was a beautiful cat.
I've had a lot of cats in my life but none of them to compare to Henry. The feral side of him is very prominent in the fact he brings home all sorts of small animals and creatures and leave their skulls or intestines on the doorstep and a little present for us, or occasionally in the bottom of my wardrobe! Though the other side of him is unbelievably affectionate. He lets me hold him like a baby, he lays all over me and just generally cuddle, normally when I'm busy doing something! But I wouldn't change him for the world. I just wish he would come home more rather than fighting with all the other neighbourhood cats!
