McDonald’s Says No To Burger King’s “McWhopper” Idea.

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

CNN reports that Burger King asked McDonald’s to combine its burgers into a new item to be sold at a pop-up restaurant for World Peace Day.

McDonald’s reportedly said “no,” but other companies have agreed to participate in some sort of combined burger, including reportedly “Denny’s and the lesser-known chains Wayback Burgers, Krystal and Giraffas.”

Since we’re all about helping food companies with ridiculous food combo ideas, here are 3 slogans we propose for these combined burgers:

  1.  “Burger King and Denny’s: Finally collaborating on burgers, presumably because In-N-Out, Five Guys, Wendy’s, Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr., Jack-In-The-Box, A&W, Shake Shack, Sonic and Red Robin said no.”
  2. “If George W. Bush could assemble a ‘coalition of the willing burger chains‘ this just might be it.”
  3. “How effective is is this fast food Peace Day? Well, even Yum brands, which mixes crazy products together at KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut apparently is not participating in this.  These are the folks who put tacos in Dorito shells; created chicken sandwiches with chicken buns; and will stuff just about any gimmick into Pizza.”
