I'm not usually one for negative reviews but today I am in a ranty mood (sorry) and this product has really disappointed me! If you have had bad skin in the past, you will know how much it can effect your confidence. Recently, my skin has been breaking out a bit more than usual and I needed a heavy duty concealer to cover the imperfections that were getting me down.
I did a bit of research and found that Anna Saccone-Joly is a fan of the Maybelline super stay 24hr concealer. I watch her apply it in one of her older videos and the coverage looked brilliant! I was so excited as I thought I had finally found my HG concealer.
I got the color light and from my first application I was impressed but I soon noticed it was VERY pink for my skin tone, even with foundation over the top you can see the patches of concealer. I have also used it under my eyes and again the coverage is great but it is very drying, it gives me lines I don't even normally have, who wants that?! Not me for sure!
I'm so disappointed, I pinned all my hopes on this being great and now I'm left feeling deflated and on the dreaded concealer hunt again!
