May Beauty Favorites

It’s beauty favorites time!

These favorites are a little on the pricey side, but since they’re all practically holy grail products for me, they are worth EVERY cent! :)

One

Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream

I received this as one of my samples from a Sephora purchase, & OMG is it amazing! Bye bye dark circles, wrinkles & puffiness. I seriously look like I woke up from 3 days worth of sleep when I use this.  Venti triple shot for the eye area if you will. ;) If you happen to have a Cosmetics Company Outlet Store near you, I was able to pick up for around $56 vs the usual $70. You use such a minimal amount that it is WELL WORTH the hefty price tag.

Two

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner in Black

I’ve recently been playing around with the cat eye look & am always looking for a really great, super black, liquid eyeliner.  I stumbled across this at Walgreens & with the price tag of $3, what the heck right? I love it! So easy to apply & you really can create a lot of different looks with it. I also really love that it’s in a pen so you don’t have to redip into a pot once you find your groove. I find that if I store upside down in my makeup holder, I get better results.

Three

Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in Armageddon

I’ve had this for a while, since right at the beginning of the frenzy.  This was the only shade our Sephora had in stock, which is the main one I would have picked anyway.  I normally wouldn’t spend $20 on a lipstick/gloss but the shade & color payoff is AMAZING! It’s the perfect girly girl pink in my opinion & it’s just SO beautiful.  I find myself wearing it so much, it has become a permanent staple in my touch up makeup bag in my purse. I’ve since added a few other shades, but this one is definitely a favorite. :)

Four

Living Proof Restore Travel Kit

Since I now have a full head of post radiation hair that is bleached, my hair is crazy dry & uncooperative.  I’ve tried a few other shampoos & conditioners, but after about a month of use, they loose their oomph.  Since I’ve been hearing so many good things about the Living Proof line, I decided to see what they had available.  I ultimately purchased this Restore travel kit because I could try the line & not be stuck with spending a ton of money on product.  I LOVE this so much that I went back & bought the Restore Targeted Repair Cream & Restore Revitalizing Spray.  I highly recommend going to ULTA for these because they have the best selection, & at the time, I was able to get a hair caddy filled with goodies for $6 thanks to my purchase. My hair loves this line, I love the way it smells & I truly can’t say enough good things about it!

Five

Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation in Light 45

I had read amazing things about the coverage of this foundation so I went to Sephora, went home with a few samples & fell IN LOVE. I LOVE a full coverage foundation & this covers like a dream with a Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush.  Since it’s Summer time, most makeup will melt off in just a few hours.  If I set this with my beloved Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray it does.not.budge! It’s so pigmented, I usually only have to use 1 pump of product so this will last a long time.

Six

Clarisonic Mia 2

I know I’m crazy late to the party with this one, but I had to think long & hard about spending $150 on a device that still required maintenance brush heads & ANOTHER charger. The hype is worth it.  My face feels so clean after use & I really feel like my moisturizers & serums are performing much better. I only have to charge like every 2 weeks so it’s not as big of a pain as I thought it was going to be.  I highly recommend purchasing when there’s a special going on. No sense in not cashing in on extra goodies right? :)
