Max, the leading value fashion brand in India, kick started the Max Trenday - a platform for the city’s trendy youth to showcase their fashion quotient. Bengali heartthrob VJ Monalisa who is the face of the campaign, unveiled the brand property logo amidst much fan fare at the City Centre New Town Mall today. Max Trenday provides aspirants with a chance to be crowned the Max trendsetter after a rigorous audition process glitzy grand finale.
Taking the excitement further was the presence of debutant actors Bonny Sengupta & Ritika Sen of upcoming film “Borbaad”, who were seen unveiling Max’s latest Autumn’14 collection. VJ Monalisa was quoted “I am excited to be the face of Max Trenday campaign. The campaign is a much needed platform for our youth to showcase their style quotient and talent, I look forward to seeing Kolkata’s youth walk the ramp and wow audiences at the grand finale”.
The Trenday campaign has kick started across Max stores in cities like Baroda, Chandigarh, Vizag, Indore, Coimbatore and Kolkata. Consumers can participate in a buzz of activities like nail art, tattoo art, caricature, a selfie zone and grooming activities across stores on August 8th 2014.
Commenting on the association, Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Max, said, “The launch of the Max Trenday campaign reinforces our many endeavors to ‘democratize fashion’ and foster talent. We are determined to continue our efforts with providing young aspirants a platform to jump start their journey in the world of glamour. The highlight of the campaign is the selfie contest where consumers can take a picture of themselves at the selfie zone set up at Max stores. The selfies are then uploaded on the Max Facebook page where entries with the highest votes stand a chance to not only win Max gift vouchers and hampers but also get an opportunity to walk the ramp at the Max Trenday Grand Finale.
