I’d like for my suburbanite students to learn a few names of different type of leaves, so I’ve made a simple sheet for them to trace so they can appreciate all the nooks and crannies of these wonderful shapes.1. Download my leaf template diagram HERE, and print one for each student.
2. Tape a sheet of marker paper to each print, and have students trace and color with Sharpie markers. I’m currently really fond of the brush tip variety, which I know are expensive, but really color so well with their flexible tips.
3. When the leaves are colored, the outlines and details are traced with an ultra fine tip black marker.
4. The leaves are cut out with a scissors and placed in a plastic art trading card sheet.
