Con la bella stagione cosa c'è di più bello di una gita fuori porta?

Io preferisco muovermi il sabato piuttosto che la domenica, perché di solito trovo meno traffico sulle autostrade: ovviamente ponti esclusi.

I don't know why all we used to visit only the villages on the banks of the lake and not the countryside around the lake.

Actually on the hills there are some very nice places to discover and an amazing panorama.

Durante la nostra ultima gita, abbiamo decisamente sbagliato giorno e ci siamo ritrovati bloccati in autostrada per circa un'ora e mezza - era sotto una festività!

During our last excursion we have definetely wrong the day because we were during a bank holiday.

That's why we have been in the traffic for over than one hour and half on the highway.

We wanted to go and eat to a village called Torri del Benaco. We understood that we couldn't arrive there in time. That's why we have decided to leave the highway and discover some new places

Sulla strada, andando comunque verso il lago, abbiamo scoperto tutta l'area interna dove vengono coltivati i vini. Il paesaggio delle colline con i vigneti mi ha dato un senso di pace , nonostante la pancia brontolasse.

During our travel towards the lake , we have discovered an interesting area where some very quality wines are farmed. This hills panorama has given to me a very peaceful feeling even if I was hungry

Proprio mentre erevamo su queste colline abbiamo visto sull'orizzonte il lago.
Non eravamo così lontani, peccato che fosse già l'ora di pranzo - tempo di fermarsi da qualche parte a mangiare.

Ad un tratto è comparso davanti a noi un ristorante in cui l'elemento principale che si notava era la terrazza.

While we were on these hills we was admiring the lake . We were not so far but it was lunch time. It was time to have a break and eat something.

Suddenly we have seen a restaurant with a big balcony - actually my mother seen it.

Il pranzo è stato decisamente piacevole: una buona pasta con sapori di lago e quindi pesce di lago, pesce persico con julienne di carote e zucchine ( che poi ho riprodotto a casa ed è venuto una delizia). Il tutto bagnato con dell'ottimo vino Bardolino

The lunch has been very tasty. We have eaten pasta at lake savours - this means that in the sauce there were the lake fishes. Then the perch fish with julienne made by zucchini and carrots

I have reproduce this recipe at home and it was delicious. We have eaten all drinking a very quality Bardolino wine.

One nice part has been the dessert - semifreddo . Anyway the best has been the sun and the amazing panorama in front of us. I share with you the address of the restaurant Miralago ( click here for tripadvisor) if you wanna try it. What we needed after this lunch? A nice walking on the river of the lake!
