South China Morning Post reports that “a man tried to smuggle his pet turtle through security in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport by hiding it in a KFC hamburger.”
3 Questions That Arise From This Story
1. KFC serves hamburgers in China? How can we be sure that the man was really trying to smuggle his turtle, and wasn’t actually attempting to smuggle a rare burger, that we would certainly want, using his turtle as camouflage?
2. Was it a slow news day in South China? Because we only want our slow news imported via turtles, not the lightning fast internet!
3. When will the Asylum studios, makers of Sharknado, and Snakes On A Train (yes, that’s a real movie) make a film about this? Since we’ve read that they make movies based on algorithms considering what Netflix viewers are watching, all you have to do is watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, and such a movie could actually be made! Just cross your fingers and bet those two movies are on Netflix, which in this rare case of movie selection, we wouldn’t bet against!
