MAn of Steel Trailer Analysis

There's plenty of talent behind the latest Superman film but will it be worth the effort. The last effort bombed and that had the talented Bryan Singer pulling the strings. So far Man of Steel doesn't look overly appealing. The superman outfit design hasn't changed enough from the original and the man himself still has the camp greasy hair look. I'm not convinced that Henry Cavill will be any better than Brandon Routh either.The latest trailer instilled a bit more hope in me however, as it features some interesting sci fi visuals and it looks like we're in for plenty of action.. The trailer gives us an idea of the kind of tone to expect from the film. Its fair to say that the Nolan brothers and Snyder are going for a real world sombre approach which may well backfire. It worked for batman but I'm not so sure how it would work in the fantasy world of Superman. An interesting and inteligent story might just win me over. Only a few months to go until we find out.
