Are you a slave to mammon
Does it control your life
Do you believe that if you give
That it will lead to strife
The rubble that you sow in
Is just what satan wants
Eternally, your treasure lacks
What you spend on your jaunts.
Is your heart ruled by mammon
Hardened by the thought
If you relax your worldly grip
Your nest egg will be sought
But God owns all the goodies
They all belong to Him
So He can take away as well
Why are we all so dim.
So honor Him who’s given
The very air we breathe
Just give because you love Him
And then you’ll surely see
The windows up in heaven
Will be opened unto you
Please sow into a fertile ground
And He will honor you.
