Hi All,
Here is a little more magazine love from me! I’m a reader, I read all the time and simply couldn’t live without a book or magazine in my bag, it doesn’t get a little OCD at times though! So as my blog is evolving into a mixture of culture, fashion and design, I want to start bringing you my favorite magazine articles each week so that I can share my love of reading with you – maybe we could start a Blog Book Club, that could be fun!!!!
So today’s magazine, that I am in love with, is Tatler. This has made it onto my blog because it is a diverse resource where we can learn about the latest cultural news, meet the stars and above all else, it’s simply well written! I love a magazine where you can tell that the writers are not there just for work, but because they are as passionate about words as I am!
My favorite Guide in the latest issue has got to be the 2013 SPA Guide, as for some reason I am completely obsessed with going on a Spa break and their words screamed out at me “When your life and your body have gone crazy… book a spa holiday!” I thought, yep that sounds like me! I also love the fact that this post wasn’t as pretentious and many Spa articles are. This didn’t suggest that you need to me rich and famous to enjoy the relaxation a spa break can bring! This is a great guide and definitely one that I will be keeping all year long!
If you buy the magazine, you will get to know each months cover person, and March’s issue is the utterly beautiful Leah Weller, model, musician and all round beautiful women. These articles are great as they have real creative flair to the way they are written and the interview questions are more personable than normal! I also love that you can go online and watch Tatler videos of the cover stars!
I love the fact that on their site you can be utterly nosey by visiting their “Bystander” Tab and view all the stars and socialites out and about at parties etc, it’s great for fashion inspiration which I then use for my blogs – plus I like looking at the rich and famous, who doesn’t enjoy a good gawp!!! Don’t worry they also have this in the printed version as well!
