I only went and added another MAC lipstick to my collection when I saw this shade going for sale on Twitter. MAC Ravishing isn't the most winter appropriate color but I just had to post about it because I've loved wearing it on the days when I want to brighten my face up a bit.
As you can see, Ravishing is a peachy coral shade that is definitely more on the orange side of peach and it's one of those colours that just seems to work so well with my paler skin. This is surprising as I don't normally suit warmer toned shades on the lips, but I'm so happy that I took a gamble with Ravishing as it looks so lovely on. It's bright enough to bring attention to your lips but I think it's still a very wearable shade for everyday use. I was hoping to have a lip swatch for this post too but a combination of my chin errupting with spots and the fact that the color was coming out a lot more pink on camera put me off including this photo, sorry!
Ravishing is a Cremesheen lipstick which means that it's super creamy and glossy on the lips and this formula is definitely my favorite as it's so easy to apply. I found the lasting power of this particular shade to be good as it lasts a good few hours before fading, and I really don't mind reapplying during the day so that's no problem at all.
Thankfully Ravishing is a permanent shade in the MAC lipstick range so it's still available to pick up from the MAC website, Debenhams or House of Fraser. Debenhams currently have 10% off MAC and the rest of the beauty/fragrance department so it's a great time to treat yourself to a MAC lippie as the normal £15 price tag can be a bit off-putting.
