Lust For Youth bring us another lo-fi melancholy dance tune to push their just-released second album Perfect View on Sacred Bones. It’s one of the warmest and most inviting Lust For Youth singles so far released. Enigmatic producer Hannes Norvidde sings over and over “I’m breaking silence!”. It’s an outlier on an album made up mostly of instrumentals—breaking the silence of sample heavy instrumentals for lighter dance tune. Or perhaps breaking out of his earlier, more confrontational music for a more personal piece—breaking the silence by doing just the opposite, making less noise.
