Last Saturday, I introduced Sienna to a Lush bath bomb and she absolutely loved it! We used the Luxury lush pud bomb* and it fizzed away turning her bath multi-coloured and then bright pink! It also smelt incredible and her bathroom still smells of it! I can't wait to use the other two I have; shoot for the stars* and Cinders* in my baths. On Sunday, Warren and I went to the #coffeewithcurrys event and it was nice to spend the day as just the two of us (as much as we love Sienna!) although it made the weekend go SO fast! I hate that!
The book Sienna and I have been loving this week is 'The Wonderous World of Sienna'*. It is an adorable story that uses Sienna's name and the letters of it throughout as well as lovely illustrations. As you can see from above, she is using the 'I' as a bridge to help the Iguana get across which is 'Ingenious'. It continues like this using all the letters of her name and then at the end it spells out her name as says everything that Sienna stands for; Smart, Ingenious, Endearing, Nice, Noble and Amazing. It's a really cool concept, Warren and I were both impressed and it also has the alphabet learning element to it which is brilliant! If you'd love a personalised version for your child then check out their website here.
I have also had these gorgeous flowers brightening up my kitchen window all week after receiving an exciting flower delivery. With December coming up, Debenhams Flowers have been working on their Christmas flowers range. The range is full of stunning bouquets, this one above is the Festive Rose & Freesia and I think it just screams Christmas with the red roses and berries.
The bouquet is complete with x5 Grandprix Roses, x7 White freesia, x3 Red Hypericum Berry, x2 Green Bell and x3 Hard Ruscus. For this bouquet it was £30.99 but you can opt for an extra large bouquet which consists of x7 Grandprix Rose, x10 White Freesias, x3 Red Hypericum Berry, x2 Green Bell and x3 Hard Ruscus for just £8 more taking it to £38.99. As you would expect from Debenhams, the delivery and presentation of the flowers were great and I would highly recommend using them. These bouquets would even make a gorgeous present for family members this Christmas! Debenhams have actually very kindly given me a discount code that entitles you to a massive 40% discount (excludes the 'Flowers by Post' range), how lovely is that?! Just enter the code DFBLOG40 to get your own bouquet!
Towards the end of the week we started getting even more festive. Sienna was sent this really cute personalised nativity book* from Born Gifted. We aren't overly religious but I am Christened and I do want Sienna to grow up knowing the meaning of Christmas so this is a great start. It's personalised with her name which keeps her attention but also really tells the story well for her to understand. We will be reading this a few times a week until Christmas! We also went shopping and I picked up a few festive bits, mainly Sienna's stocking presents and a few finishing touches for her Christmas Eve box; I can't wait to give it to her!
We also started and nearly finished our Christmas shopping! We had a lovely day out, Sienna was good as gold and we shared our first mince pie of the year; I wasn't sure if she was going to like it but she did and asked for more; we will definitely have to make some nearer to Christmas :)
