According to recent speculations, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are considering to skip the traditional Royal Family annual Christmas gathering this year at Sandringham. The recently declared would-be parents are reportedly planning to spend this Christmas season with Kate’s parents – Carole and Michael Middleton.
Though either of the plans is still in the pipeline, nothing has been decided yet. “It is being discussed but has not yet been decided,” a source to the Royal family told Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper.
“Carole (Middleton) is keen for Kate to spend Christmas with the family. It will be their last Christmas at the family home before the Middletons move house.”
If Kate Middleton and Prince William decide to partake in the family Christmas celebration, then it may be a very busy day as it has been predicted that Kate’s pregnancy news will attract huge crowd compared to last year at Sandringham, where 3,000 public members appeared for her first Christmas with the Royal family.
“Christmas at Sandringham can be very busy and stressful with everyone arriving. There is always a lot going on, big dinners and lots of outfit changes to contend with,” the source further added.
At present, the pregnant Duchess is recovering from a bout of acute morning sickness. Being in and out and again back to hospital, prompted Prince William to cancel an appearance at the British Military Awards.
With Kate’s present condition, it is expected she may be under the doctor’s observation in London for the coming days, but she may potentially be able to escape to her family in Berkshire for the Christmas celebrations. “At home Kate will be able to relax and put her feet up,” the source added.
The would-be father, Prince William has sworn to move Heaven and earth to protect his wife from the media commotion caused due to the much awaited pregnancy news.
“He has vowed to do everything in his power to protect Kate from the media frenzy surrounding her pregnancy and Heaven help anyone who crosses the line.”
This summer witnessed Kate to endure the wrath when Kate’ topless photos hit the tabloids and created a furore.
The couple was initially planning to break the baby news on Christmas Day in order to surprise the Royal family, but Kate Middleton’s health issues made them make the announcements weeks earlier than planned.
