Lotus Herbals Swift Make-Up

Lotus Herbals Swift Make-Up

 Hi Everyone,

The product I am going to review today is a foundation stick from Lotus herbals. I wanted to purchase a foundation which is safe to use and can be used as a concealer too for my dark circles. When I saw this on an e-commerce site few months back I immediately purchased. Now I have used this so many times and I can tell how good or bad this foundation stick is.

What’s my Skin type:-

My facial skin is combination type, gets oily around my nose during summers and normal in winters.

What the Product claims:-

NATURALBLEND™ is a holistic product that works like a foundation, a concealer, a compact and a sun screen. Every single application gives your skin an even tone while masking its natural imperfections. With its moisturizing formula that easily blends into the skin, you get the much desired matte-effect without the pores getting clogged.(On the website)

My opinion on the product:-

I was very existed to use this foundation stick. This was my first foundation in a stick form also all four in one grabbed my attention and interest instantly. It was a concealer, a foundation, have UV protection and gives a matte finish all this makes it all in one foundation which is herbal too.

Lotus Herbals Swift Make-Up - After Blending

I opened it and applied the stick on my moisturized skin. Then gently rub it to blend with my fingers. It is very easily blended and gives matte finish to my skin. It works very well as  a concealer  too and hides little imperfections. It doesn’t gives matte finish but a little dewy fnish and you need to set it with a little compact. I think I purchased the darkest shade which looked a little darker than my skin tone. The shade Natural Beige will suit be the best. According to my experience the shade that will suits to skin types are:-

  • Honey Beige – 710 (Dark)
  • Natural Beige – 720 (Medium)
  • Creamy Peach – 730 (Light)

Packaging

It comes in a plastic case which is transparent at top and you need to remove the cover and twist to open it like lipsticks. The cap looks a little fragile but can be carried easily in your purse for touchups. It is a tad thicker than a lipstick and takes very less space.

 Shade

The shade that I have is Honey beige 710.

Texture

It has very creamy texture and when blended gives a matte finish.

Fragrance

The fragrance is light and smells like some talc or multani mitti (clay).

 Staying Power

Staying power is average for about 4-5 hours.

What I liked:-

  • Compact
  • Easy to use
  • Comes in stick form
  • Herbal
  • All 4 in 1
  • Affordable
  • Works great as eye shadow base.

What I didn’t liked:-

  • I choose the wrong shade.
  • Ingredients list missing.
  • Creamy texture might not suit oily skin gals.
  • SPF should be at least 30.

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes but Natural beige shade may be. If you are looking for a all in one budget foundation and don’t have oily skin then yes.

Rating:-

4/5

Final Words:-

It is a good All in one foundation and the stick form makes it convenient to use and carry in your purse. Its creamy texture suits to my skin and give s a dewy finish. I use it in winters and it keeps my skin moisturized (With the sunscreen underneath).  Hides minor imperfections and works great as an eye shadow base.
