Most light shades don’t look good on my lips as they tend to look dark and mostly unflattering. Also , I have fuller lips and with shiny glosses they seem to look as if the lips are too big . In terms of Packaging I loved Loreal Shine Caresse Cherie Lip Colour is perfect. Similar to the L’oreal Moist matte Lipsticks, these have Golden Metallic packaging. The packaging looks very exquisite and luxurious. I would definitely give the Shine Caresse range 5/5 for Packaging. The uniquely shaped tube like packaging comes with a screw lid (metallic) which opens up to reveal the Petal shaped applicator. This applicator is quite unique too, it has a small gap in the middle of the sponge tip , which helps to keep away the excess product . The packaging is perfect since it also has a transparent part near the opening of the tube to show the color of the product. Shade name is mentioned on the screw top lid.

Usage Experience/ Review of loreal Shine Caresse Cherie :
The shade is a beautiful pink which has very tiny hints of purple. There are fine golden shimmers present in this particular loreal lip gloss formula but it does not look OTT. The formula is non-sticky and hydrating. It does make lips appear fuller and juicy. So if you have smaller lips, these will help them look bigger. I have dark lips and they seem to have become darker after my recent Chicken pox and mumps feat.

Though the shade is pink, on my pigmented lips it looks like a pink- red. On less pigmented lips, it will show the truer color. The shade is adequately pigmented for a lip gloss, but for pigmented lips like mine, they can be used only above a lip liner. Or you might use it as I use it now, above a matching lipstick. The staying power is Ok , the color stays for three to four hours but the glossy feel fades within an hour or 1.5 hours.
As far as I believe shimmers and ‘Sayantani’ don’t really go along. I hate shimmery lip glosses as well as lipsticks. I am a total Matte lover, but the shimmer in this lip gloss is not very prominent. But once you wear this loreal lip gloss for a few hours , you will realize that the shimmer particles will settle down in your fine lines and near the edge of your mouth. But considering these lip colours are affordable and non sticky , I would recommend these to light lipped ladies . For those with pigmented lips like mine- skip this , you won’t regret it.

Final Words :
Though I’m not really a fan of the shimmers, these will make for good companions for college going ladies. Also , ladies with thin lips and those who love slight color and shine to their lips. In terms of price these are Ok and I will definitely recommend it for the classy packaging.Overall it’s not a great deal for me but for those with naturally light lips, these can be the best affordable lip glosses
