Spring is slowly passing away and I can definitely feel the warmth of Summers setting in. I literally hate Summer months, there’s nothing to like about it. I get tanned so easily, I feel sweaty if I’m out and not to mention the Heat Waves . But , today we will talk about Spring, actually a Loreal lipstick I am loving, called Loreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Spring Rosette. I picked this up along with Loreal Color Riche Moist matte Lipstick Raspberry Syrup which I will review in a few days . I had ordered it online and sadly, the Nykaa package came without it . After a lot of Phone call and Emails, this baby reached me safely . But let’s not get you all bored and continue with the review.

Loreal has been a Brand that never really tempted me. I love Revlon, Maybelline Lakme and other Drugstore Brands for their Budget finds, but found L’Oreal lipsticks fairly overpriced . I would rather spend a few more bucks and get MAC . But when these Loreal Color Riche lipstick series got launched I got greedy and picked up two shades L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Spring Rosette and L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Raspberry Syrup . Today I’m going to review and swatch L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Spring Rosette :

I would be lying if I told you I just like the packaging, I love it. I love rose gold-colored things and am constantly collecting Rose gold accessories, watches etc. I love how sleek and exclusive this lipstick looks. The rose gold mirrored finish lipstick case has a small square color coded button for easy shade location. I have multiple shades from this category and this surely helps me locate it better. I feel this lipstick is very travel friendly as the lid closes tightly with a click and will not open up on its own. The lipstick just feels luxurious in your hand I loved the packaging.
*** It’s a pain to click pictures as it reflects everything and attracts fingerprint.

Loreal would have been my Favorite brand, if their lipsticks were priced a wee bit lower. I have a problem spending 900 Rs for a Drugstore brand, even though i like the matte feel and packaging. Usage/ Review LOreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Spring Rosette :
This has been my first purchase from the Loreal Moist matte series and I i love the formula. I love matte lipsticks but even though I love matte, MAC’s powder matte formula is too dry for me. I love how these lipsticks are creamy but settle into a very comfortable matte finish. The lipstick is very pigmented and I only need two swipes to cover all of my pigmentation.
the shade Spring Rosette is a very beautiful Cool toned pink with a hint of brown. if you go to office and have to wear subtle shades , then this one is for you. It is a dusty rose color which is suitable for fair to medium skinned women. I love how the formula settles into a matte finish without making my lips dry like MAC’s matte shades.
I tested the staying power of the lipstick and it stayed well past 4 hours with minimum fading. The shade tends to stain lips. I have seen the lipstick making the dry patches of the lips more prominent as well as settling into the fine lines.

Final words:
I love the formula and the packaging of these lipsticks but the price is such a turnoff. At 899 Rs, I feel it’s too much for a lipstick from Loreal. I love this blue based pink shade and will be wearing it quite often. if you love subtle pinks or have to wear them at Work, pick up this shade. The shade looks beautiful on fair to medium skin tones and leaves a strong hint of color even after it wears off. I would have totally loved these , but the saddest part is that they break easily from the base. When you are charged so much we at least would expect the lipsticks to be more durable.
P.S : Sorry for the noticeable Dark Circles and Spots . I’ve been suffering from the Last Two months and these spots were made during the last chicken Pox attack
Pick up this shade if you’re a office goer or love subtle wearable cool toned pinks.
It’s also a must try for Matte lipstick lovers. If you’re new to matte , try these lipsticks and I guarantee you will love them. LOreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Spring Rosette is a very beautiful everyday color and it’s a comfortable matte formula . You can expect decent staying power from this range. I will be picking up more shades from this range as I love the packaging and easy to wear Matte formula.
