Looking for a New Sailing Book That Makes a Great Read?

By Sailingguide
Matt Vance

Matt Vance's new book How to Sail a Boat has a somewhat misleading title, since it doesn't actually teach a new sailor what to do. What it does, though, is delight both experienced and new sailors and even nonsailors who enjoy a good read with alternatingly humorous, philosophical, musing, and insightful personal essays and stories related to all aspects of sailing, cruising, racing, and owning a boat. It's hard to capture its essence in a nutshell; read the full review here. And here are some other reading suggestions: buy now to prepare for your armchair sailing after the season ends.
