Life is meant to be lived…we should leap and have fun along the way. I love taking pictures, but I always feared not being good enough. Until I decided ‘No Deidre…live and have no regrets’. I have no regrets about making the move to pick up my camera and start snapping away again.
There is no better place to start than by rounding up the family to pose as models while I gain some practice. I decided to do a small shoot with my nieces, who were dying to do a sister shoot. I also wanted to show them that they were models in their own right, as they are both at the tender age of being defined by what people think and what the media dictates is true beauty. So we all needed a little lesson in life and we learnt a little in the end!
