-Preacher's debut on AMC was seen by 2.4 million viewers on Sunday. The show delivered a .9 RA1849 which isn't THAT impressive. Of course the show just had to debut on a Sunday. EVERY network executive thinks it's smart to put all their eggs in the Sunday basket. This Sunday, Preacher was up against Game of Thrones and the NBA Playoffs. Let's see how it does once the Live+7 numbers come in.
THE SHOWS Live with Kelly
Fred was back and totally killed again. I don't really need to say anything other than "GELMAN HIRE HIM." I've been meaning to bring this up for a few days already. The "WITH" is missing from the title. If you go online or watch the show or order your new mug, the logo for the show is LIVE KELLY. The" WITH" is missing. If you are going to lose the "WITH" maybe call the show Kelly LIVE instead of LIVE KELLY? Why drop the WITH? Was it a mistake or intentional? Could have been a mistake. You know, the mugs showed up, the merch showed up and some intern opened the box and was like "uh oh….." everything didn't have the WITH on it. Gelman didn't have the budget to send it back and start over, he just went with it maybe thinking I wouldn't notice. When they hire Fred, will they add the WITH back in or will the show be called LIVE KELLY & FRED? Lots to consider this AM.
Deadliest Catch
Jake Anderson really can't catch a break since becoming a captain. He may be able to find crab, but he can't seem to find good help. This time another alcoholic showed up, got hammered and then went missing. The crab were calling, a huge massive storm was on its way so the crew dumped the dudes bag on the dock and headed out to sea one guy short. The storm was insane, even Sig Hansen was pretty scared of this thing. The Northwestern got rocked HARD! I was glad that Sig was cool with young Sean Dwyer not catching his quota yet. I'm loving this young kid. He didn't even go out into the crazy storm. He waited it out stayed safe and probably caught up on Game of Thrones or something.Chrisley Knows Best
Julie and Todd headed to Los Angeles for some lipo. Chase and Savannah were left in charge of Grayson and the juice bar. No way would that really happen. No way would Nanny Faye be allowed to work in that place if it wasn't for the show. No way Chase lays in the Sleep Number bed with candles when he's supposed to be working if it wasn't for TV!!! By the way…Chase and Nanny Faye supposedly live in Atlanta, right? Savannah supposedly goes to school, right? Maybe that's true except during filming. Also ridiculous...Todd was in the room while the doctor sucked out Julie's fat. No way that happens in real life either!THE OTHER STUFF
-Last night on Fallon, Jimmy took Blake Shelton to Nobu to try sushi. Apparently Blake's NEVER had it before. Not crazy hysterical, but funny enough to post in this thing.
