Thought I would write a post today about the Little Mix concert I went to back in June now. Wow, this is long awaited. Every summer our local rugby stadium holds a summer concert and this year it happened to be Little Mix. Previous years included: The Wanted, Jess Glynne and Madness but I was never fortunate to go see a concert on the luxury of on the doorstep.
Opening acts included Sheppard and Ella Eyre, can't say we saw much of Sheppard as we were on the bus whilst they were playing there set, plus I'm not sure on who they were if I'm being completely honest. However, Ella Eyre was amazing! Would it be a bad thing to say that she was better than the main act which was Little Mix? Little Mix, was a short act to say the least. They tried to leave the stage within the half an hour they were on which resulted in no applause. So they came back out for a song or two. Not really the response I was expecting from tickets that cost £50 each for seating. When they were on stage, it was pretty good. Songs were top hits from the girl band including Shout Out To My Ex, Wings, and other top hits from their new album and their original. Was a little sad that my favorite song didn't make it onto the set list but nonetheless it was an enjoyable experience. The view from my seat was bad, relaxing but not ideal. Although seating was one of the more expensive options I think I would've had the better concert experience if went for the standing but the choice was not up to me. Little MixWould I see Little Mix again? I would but I would try a bigger arena to see them and felt that the vibe and enjoyment was lost since the Manchester attack as there seemed to be a lot of stress in the air.
Love Molly xo
