Franz Ferdinand have released two new songs ahead of their upcoming album.
Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action will be the band’s first album release in four whole years, and today they’ve released two tracks, ‘Right Action’ and ‘Love Illumination’, the latter being produced by Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip.
Both songs are classic Franz Ferdinand, mixing indie and dance with a shameless disregard for seriousness, it, as always, simply sounds as though they’re messing around and having loads of fun.
Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action will be released on August 27 in the US and August 26 in the UK on Domino Records. Listen to the two new songs below:
