Arctic Monkeys’ new album AM is available to stream via iTunes, a week ahead of its official release.

Arctic Monkeys AM

Produced by James Ford and co-produced by Ross Orton at Los Angeles’ Sage & Sound Recording and De La Luna in Joshua Tree, the 12-track album, the band’s fifth, features guest spots from the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral)

The band and label have hinted of a hip-hop feel to the record, though have insisted it won’t be a rap-rock album (thank goodness for that). You can stream it here, and you might also want to check out the video for ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’, in which a trashed Alex loses his mind and bearings, below.

Coming your way between now and the official release will be our own verdict, so keep your eyes peeled for that. We’re certainly excited, and to be blunt you should be too.
