Washed Out has released another song from his upcoming album Paracosm, this one’s titled ‘Don’t Give Up’, and guess what…
…it’s another lyric video! That’s right, you can sing along to all the words!
Whether or not Washed Out, aka Ernest Greene, reckons his ever-growing legions of fans are partially deaf and thus require subtitles we’ll never know, but hey it’s nice being able to follow the lyrics, kind’ve like a hipster karaoke night that only you’re cool enough to attend.
The song itself is another summery belter, breezing along nicely with insanely catchy choruses. Each release is further proof of real maturity from the musician, leaving us incredibly excited indeed to hear more.
‘Don’t Give Up’ is the second song to be released from his second album Paracosm after ‘It Feels All Right’ surfaced a few weeks ago.
Paracosm is out on August via Sub Pop in the US and Weird World in the UK. It features 50 different instruments and was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Gnarls Barkley).
