Babyshambles and Peter Doherty are back! Here’s a brand new release ahead of a new upcoming album and UK tour.
It’s common knowledge that you don’t ever really know what you’re going to get from Peter Doherty or Babyshambles, whether their performances are going to be laden with violence or whether they’re going to turn up at all, whether or not studio time will be productive or fraught with paranoid tension.
Therefore it’s a relief to hear what is an undeniably solid sounding release from the band; a song that highlights Doherty’s mercurial songwriting abilities, pushing the band on from the scrappy garage sound they adopted from their creation. It’s catchy and a real sign of progression and maturity both from the band and Doherty.
Babyshambles’ third album Sequel To The Prequel is due out on September 2nd, you can listen to their new song ‘Nothing Comes To Nothing’ below, check out their tour dates if you fancy seeing them in action live, and have a look at the track listing for the new album, don’t say we never treat you.
