We at The Raccoon love a good cover, so late last week when Arctic Monkeys took to the live lounge to tackle Drake’s excellent Hold On We’re Going Home, we were a little excited. The sophisticated funk that Arctic Monkeys have found of late sees the band taking on the track with effortless swagger (albeit via some pretty bad dad-dancing from Mr Turner). There’s definitely a bit of Get Lucky to be found in there too, which is never a bad thing. Tongue very firmly in cheek, this is an extremely fun cover, whilst also proving that there’s pretty much nothing that Arctic Monkeys can’t do.
