Finally 2014 has set in and everyone is back to their business, so am I. The weather in Mumbai this year has strangely not been cold enough so far which is good in a way after hearing all the chilling stories of people in North India telling me how cold it is.. Lol. Anyhow enough of my stories let's come to the point. I am back with a lipstick review which I love doing the most. The lipstick I shall review today is called Lissome Natural Grace Lip Color in no 101 - PINK. Let us see how good this lipstick is...

What does Lissome have to say about this line of lipsticks:

Now coming to the packaging it does come in a hot pink and gold plastic tube. The cap does not click lock and overtime may get loose on repeated use. Hence I would not say that it is travel friendly. The bullet is good and sturdy enough but the packaging feels very cheap especially because it does not click lock. Overall nothing great about the packaging. I would say it is just about ok.
Now coming to the lipstick. This lipstick is from the It's Simple line.It is a blue based hot pink fuschia lipstick. It does not have shimmer. The lipstick is metallic according to me because it gives a nice plump look to the lips especially when the light hits the lower lip.This lipstick instantly brightens up my face. It is very moisturizing and goes on very smoothly on the lips. One swipe gives plenty of color but I would suggest two if you want an opaque finish. This lipstick has a lovely strong smell and taste which some may find problematic but then it fades with time. Personally I have no problem with scented lipsticks. The lipstick does last 4 to 5 hours and post a meal leaves a nice pink tint on the lips. Yes it does stain the lips a bit but I am ok with it. The lipstick may or may not suit all skin tones as some may not prefer this shade. But dark shades and fuschia shades are so 'in' right now and you won't find a lipstick as pigmented as this for 99 bucks.
The Good:Inexpensive.Lovely bright shade.Brightens my face instantly.Gives plumping effect to my lips due to its metallic finish.Moisturizing.Fairly long lasting.
The not so Good:Availability is a major issue.
The pefume and taste is a bit overpowering for sensitive noses.Wish the packaging was more sturdy and did not give that cheap look.
May not be favorite shade for all skin tones.

I seem to like this lipstick and I reckon it will suit fair to medium skin tones. It is a steal for 99 bucks. Go grab it if you may find it. I recommend you try this lipstick for the price. I know most of you said that we do not get this brand and I did mention to the brand about it they said they shall work on the availability part.
