This is my third Lime Crime velvetine after Pink Velvet and Wicked and I feel that the formula of Utopia is much better. The packaging with the rose printed box and frosted matte bottle is a big favorite. Each velvetine comes with a sponge-tip wand applicator with a slightly tapered end for precise application. Coming to the color, it is simply gorgeous. A bright matte purple with a hint of hot pink in it. I would say this is the liquid equivalent of MAC's Flat Out Fabulous but maybe with a bit more purple. A great dupe of Utopia is Sleek's Fandango Purple, another favorite of mine.
Utopia is a cool toned color so it will make your face and teeth look a lot brighter and it is a color that will go with any skin tone. I've said that Utopia has a better formula than the other two velvetines I've tried because it is not as dry. The others tend to make lips really dry after an hour or two but Utopia feels quite comfortable on the lips. When it comes to staying power, very few lip colors can match the velvetines. They easily last for nearly six hours.

Final thoughts - I love Utopia. It makes me look good and if you love bright colors then you should get it too!. Utopia is priced at $20 and Lime Crime ships worldwide.
