"Liebster Blog Award"

This morning was off to a terrific start when I turned on my computer and discovered that I was the recipient of the Liebster Blog Award from Amyd the hugely creative blogger over at Four Corners Design where she creates beautiful, useful objects using things that others cast-off. She has the amazing ability to see form and function in very unique ways, she will mix together items such as old book pages, maps and magazine ads to create a collage with a story. Do visit her blog, I promise it will not disappoint.
Anyway, now let's get back to the Liebster Blog Award . . .  'Liebster' means 'favorite' or 'dearest'. This award, which originated in Germany, recognizes up and coming bloggers and is meant to showcase bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers. This is all done in the spirit of  fostering new connections.
