LG G Pro 2 to Have a 13MP OIS Camera

LG has confirmed that its upcoming phablet, the LG G Pro 2, will feature a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

The G Pro 2 will feature a 13-megapixel camera.

The announcement came via LG’s official blog.

We have already seen the OIS technology in other smartphones, such as the LG G2 and the Nokia Lumia 1020. It eliminates blur caused by the user shaking the camera and allows for sharper and lighter pictures to be taken. According to LG, the camera will be able to shoot HD videos (Ultra HD) in slow motion and will include a 20-shot burst mode that will capture perfect action shots. It is possible that we will be seeing a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front of the phone.

Although the details are still hazy, the LG G Pro 2 is expected to have a 6in Full HD display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

Last month, the Korean company announced that we will be seeing the G Pro 2 at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona (February 24 – February 27).

Samsung has also teased that its Galaxy S5 will be unveiled on February 24.
